Dr. Askari was born and raised in Iran. Her deep love for animals started at a young age and naturally led her to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree and she developed a strong interest in small animal medicine and soft tissue surgery.
Now a licensed veterinarian in Canada, Dr. Askari joined the team at Parkdale Animal Hospital in 2023. She’s passionate about building trust with pets and their owners, and is committed to creating a gentle, fear-free experience for every animal. Outside the clinic, she enjoys painting, reading, and spending time with her loved ones.
