Dr. Gary Rosnick

Dr. Rosnick graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 1982. His love of horses and the country took him first to the farm community of New Hamburg, where he worked for three years practicing veterinary medicine on dairy cattle, horses, pigs, dogs and cats. In 1985, Dr. Rosnick moved back to his hometown of Toronto and purchased the Parkdale Animal Hospital. He authored a pet-advice column for four years in The Toronto Star called “Your Pet Matters,” and has appeared on a number of television programs as a guest speaker. When not at the hospital, Dr. Rosnick enjoys spending time with his wife, Lisa, children, Kyle and Johanne, and their cat, Doughnut.

Dr. Ebru Toprak

Dr. Toprak graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2007, where she won a number of academic awards in her graduating year. Professionally, she has a strong interest in surgery. In her spare time Dr. Toprak practices martial arts and Turkish folk dancing, enjoys traveling with friends and spending time with her cat, Nala.

Dr. Jessica Doyle

Dr. Doyle joined the Parkdale team in December 2018.  She graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in Guelph in 2010 and has practiced small animal medicine in and around Toronto since then.  She has a strong interest in animal behaviour and welfare. In her spare time she can be found doing crossfit, planning her next hiking or surfing trip, or spending quality time with her beloved standard poodle Beau.

Dr. Michelle Leung
Dr.Leung graduated from the University of Glasgow in Scotland in 2014 and since then practiced in small animal and exotic medicine in Hong Kong. She has strong interest in small animal and exotics surgery and is currently studying for her certification in advance veterinary practice (CertAVP) in small animal surgery. Her interest in different species of animals is reflected by the vast number of pets she has back home ranging from dogs to birds, small furries and even reptiles! In her spare time she enjoys taking her newly adopted Chihuahua ‘Kola’ on hikes, going climbing and going on trips to new exotic destinations!

Pia joined our team in August 2016 as a receptionist with an educational background of Office Administration. Her professional experience includes over five years as Veterinary Assistant in both regular and emergency and in-home cat sitting since 2011. She comes with over five years of volunteer history at multiple animal rescues/shelters in the GTA. Pia is passionate about animal rights and environmental conservation. She shares her home with several rescued cats including a few with special needs, a turtle, and a rescued dog named Jerry. Pia enjoys time with her pets, spending time outdoors/exploring nature, discovering more of Toronto, and attending live punk/metal shows. She is happy to make your and your pet’s visit as pleasant and comfortable as possible.


Gillian joined the Parkdale Animal Hospital team in August of 2011. She grew up with a passion for animals and science which lead her into a career in veterinary medicine. After graduating from Georgian College as a Registered Veterinary Technician, Gillian developed a keen interest in anesthesia and pain management. She strives to ensure that every patient coming in and out of the hospital is given the best care possible. When not working, Gillian enjoys cuddling her dog and cat, Dixie and Zinc.


Solange joined the team as a vet assistant in October 2015. She graduated from the University of Toronto with a B.Sc. in Biology and enjoys working with animals and being in nature. She has 3 senior cats (Frisky, Buddy, & Ralph), and a turtle (Chef). She enjoys pet sitting and dog walking as well as hiking, biking and spending time with her family.


Tristienne joined the Parkdale Animal Hospital team in June of 2018. She has worked at multiple clinics across the city of Toronto, with six years of animal care experience ranging from small animal surgery to wildlife care. She is doing an apprenticeship with a dog training facility and loves learning about canine behaviour modification. If you have questions about dog training feel free to ask her! When not at work, you can find her playing video games, horseback riding or training her German Shepherd Dog, Maui, for the protection sport called “PSA.” She also has a love for reptiles, with a ball python and a crested gecko at home.

Natasia joined the Parkdale Animal Hospital team in October of 2018. She graduated from the Animal Care Program at Sheridan College in 2016 with high honours and has been working as a Veterinary Assistant since. In her spare time she enjoys fostering cats and kittens for Toronto Animal Services and spending time with her black rescue cat named Noelle.
